House 3, Week 17

The shutters are up and the outside looks a lot more cheery. I took a photo of the back because out front the dumpster kind of ruins the view.

Don't let the bad lighting fool you, the shutters aren't black, but a nice, dark green.

Inside, the new boiler is in place and ready to be hooked up. That's a lesson learned from the first two houses. Don't try to install the boiler AND hook up the heat at the same time.

This week the Mr. was busy trimming. All the trim is finished in the bedrooms and bathrooms.

The space at the bottom is to accommodate the baseboard heat. I love the little angles. It will look like one continuous molding once it's painted.

The doorways and closets are trimmed out as well.

Even the plumbing access hole in the bathroom has molding. Adorable.

No work this weekend. Helper Bob had some personal business to take care of and the Mr. has a stomach bug. Not exactly the way one wants to get a weekend holiday.

I think tiling is next on the schedule. Very demanding work physically. Lots of up and down and hands and knees. Glad it isn't me.
